چکیده

Abstract The modification of cotton fabrics with water-soluble cationic copolymers for salt-free dyeing applications reactive dyes is explored in the present work. To this end, a family bifunctional was designed through chemical poly(4-vinyl benzyl chloride), PVBC, triethylamine, TEAM. These were applied onto aqueous alkaline solutions at moderate temperature (60 °C). successful verified characterization modified samples Raman and XPS spectroscopy. Moreover, polymer coverage fabric order 0.1% (w/w) estimated following exhaustion UV–Vis spectroscopy used modification. kinetics followed evolution spectra fabrics, and, indirectly, dye dyebaths using dye, namely Novacron Ruby S-3B. All techniques claim that practically accomplished within first 1–2 h. double functionality study revealing both electrostatic binding covalent bonding anionic surface are expected to take place. As an important consequence, polymer-modified strongly dyed under eco-friendlier conditions, room temperature, contrast barely unmodified fabric. Graphical abstract

Combinative Scouring, Bleaching, and Cationization Pretreatment of Greige Knitted Cotton Fabrics for Facilely Achieving Salt-Free Reactive Dyeing.

In order to facilely achieve pretreatment and salt-free dyeing of greige knitted cotton fabrics, a combinative scouring, bleaching, and cationization pretreatment of the fabrics is designed in this study. The fabrics are first treated in a bath containing commercial scouring and bleaching agents, and then glycidyltrimethylammonium chloride (GTA) is directly added into the bath to achieve cation...

Dyeing Effects Of Bifunctional Reactive Dyes On Knitted Cotton Fabrics

Introduction: Several new bifunctional reactive dyes of the Sumifix Supra range that carry monochlorotriazine and sulphato ethyl sulphone reactive systems were developed and their dyeing performance studied. Suitable characteristic properties and fastness properties were examined over the knitted cotton fabrics. The dyes were characterized by spectral data and elemental analysis. The dyes struc...

Eco-friendly Dyeing of Viscose Fabric with Reactive Dyes

Water-soluble polymers have versatile applications but they are hardly used in wet processing of cellulosic substrates (cotton, viscose, jute, etc.), particularly in dyeing. In this paper, one such water-soluble polymer, polyacrylic acid has been synthesized, characterized and applied to viscose fabric in conjunction with various types of reactive dyes, namely triazinyl, vinyl sulphone, high ex...

Environmentally friendly dyeing of Silk fabrics Using Microwave Heating

In recent years, the textile industry must go towards developing of new technologies to reduce the energy and water consumption. The use of microwave in textile wet processing is one way for this purpose. The advantages of microwaves, which it is use much less liquid, they can exhaust or save dyes and leave no waste of liquid dye compared to conventional methods. Microwave dyeing has other adva...

Investigation on Ecological Parameters of Dyeing Organic Cotton Knitted Fabrics

In this study, the ecological parameters of the effluent obtained from dyeing of scoured and mercerised organic cotton single jersey fabrics with textile reactive dyes adopting exhaust dyeing method was investigated. The dyes used include regular (Navacron H and FN) reactive dyes and low impact (Remazol and Levafix) reactive dyes along with inorganic salt (sodium sulphate) and biosalt (trisodiu...
